Former
Gov. Sarah Palin put out a post on Facebook stating how much courage
it took for Trump to skip the most recent debate. Palin herself
is well known for her anti-establishment stance so it is no surprise
that she admires the same quality in Trump. Palin is also known
for her strong support of our veterans and Trumps Veterans rally
really got her fired up.
Palin
also highlights another major issue. Trump shines a big
spotlight on the media elite and the GOP establishment. The
Democrat rival, Hillary Clinton would be no match to take on Trump on
her best day. But she appears to be on the verge of being
indicted for using a private server for classified government
information. Trump is holding all the right cards and at the
right time and the Democrats have no counter punch. Not only
that, Trumps move has left the elite without a clue of what to do
with themselves.
Palin
notes that politicians showed their hypocritical stripes by calling
Trump a “chicken” for opting out of participating in this weeks
debate and held a fundraiser for our vets instead. But all of
the GOP candidates had threatened to not participate in the Houston
debate coming up because CNBC moderators had not been fair in the
last one. They were refusing to participate until changes were
made for the moderator line-up. I didn’t know that and I bet
most other people did not either.
Another
beloved Republican skipped out on his last Iowa debate and his name
was Ronald Reagan. Like Trump, he was belittled and minimized
as nothing more than a Hollywood actor. In Trumps case, the
narrative is he is nothing but an arrogant, blowhard, billionaire.
Well they got the last one right. As the song by Meatloaf
says “two out of three ain’t bad.” But one out of three
is just plain ignorance.
Palin
encourages voters to inform themselves because we really can’t
trust today’s batch of so called journalists. Palin will attest to
how dishonest most are. She also notes how they have greatly
underestimated the populace but we are to blame for that. We
have been lazy and complacent and allowed their arrogance to flourish
while we went along with our personal lives citing we were just too
damn busy to take part in the foundation of our country.
Palin
adds in a subtle comment about an unnamed moderator who we all know
as Megyn Kelly citing, why is Kelly allowed to moderate a debate when
she goes on her show nightly to express her bias against Trump?
The
masses have been simmering and it is now boiling over. All we
needed was an independent leader to begin a revolution.
