"Progressive" Editorial "WITH BOEHNER’S EXIT,PARTY OF REAGAN DEAD PARTY OF SARAH PALIN WILL RISE"

A far left site's editorial gets it right:

"WITH JOHN BOEHNER’S EXIT, THE PARTY OF REAGAN IS DEAD… AND THE PARTY OF SARAH PALIN WILL RISE"

Actually it's not "will rise" but  "has risen but they grope about dimly in the blinding sun of the Palin-ite conservative dawn." In their hate and sarcasm against conservatives and in particular Sarah Palin they pay us, and her, an enduring compliment.

Yes indeed what Governor Palin has tirelessly worked for, under the most vicious attacks a person has ever endured, is slowly but surely coming to fruition.

"Sarah Palin didn’t just set the tone for how conservatives behave today… she wrote the sheet music.

When Palin resigned her office, under terrible personal and financial duress created by a band of Democratic haters and genuine nutcases, she set out her plans for the future. She made it clear she would  work selflessly for the election of genuine conservatives, and if the future did not hold elective office for her-so be it "if I die I die" she memorably said.

She also said "you don't need a title to make a difference". This concept is so far beyond the understanding of leftists personal advantage seekers that they could not grasp the concept-to their detriment.

So instead of taking Palin seriously and at her word, they continued on their campaigns of personal attack, lies and sarcasm. And where has it got them now they have been shocked enough by Boehner's retirement to look around at the reality of the political scene?

They see genuine conservatives in the House and Senate who don't kow-tow to the Beltway Establishment. They see so many conservatives who got into office mostly, or entirely, because of Palin's endorsement and campaigning for them. Cruz/Ayotte/Fischer/Haley-the list  is massive (21 of 23 Palin endorsements were elected in the 2014 mid-terms alone).

They see  900 elected offices having gone from the Democratic party to the Republicans since Obama took office. They cry "gerrymander" but can't explain how majority control of the senate and governorship's are effected by so called gerrymanders.

Now that the scales have finally fallen (far too late of course) their perverted concept of reality comes back into view with their rant directed at their Emmanuel Goldstein;

"Whoever takes the (Speakers) seat next needs to play by the rules of Sarah Palin, not by the rules of Ronald Reagan, however much those Tea Party figures might praise the latter.
How, you’re probably asking, does this involve Sarah Palin? After all, Palin has never held office in the House or the Senate, and she’ll certainly never occupy the White House… why on Earth am I bringing that bumpkin into the mix? The answer is simple, if you think back to the 2008 campaign trail anyway. Sarah Palin can easily, though indirectly, be credited with birthing the Tea Party, and certainly deserves heaps of credit for helping radicalize the party. Without Sarah Palin entering the mix, the last seven years would look vastly different.
And with this, we’re soon going to see a new era in Republican politics. The rise of the party of Ted Cruz, of Michele Bachmann, of Glenn Beck… the rise of the party of Sarah Palin. So brace yourselves, my fellow progressives. You might think the last seven years have been rough, but you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
And they've got that right. Whilst the left has been laughing and pointing Palin has doggedly got on with the task she set for herself.

The left has spent 7 years calling her an idiot but it is suddenly dawning on them that they, like everyone else who has taken her on, is coming off second best. "You ain't seen nothin yet" indeed.

Whomever Palin endorses in the Republican primary will have her imprimatur, and as with Cruz et al the path to victory.

Let the left scoff, although I think that will be a thing of the past  if the have any residual sense at all, but they will be facing a sea change in American political life not to their liking but entirely well deserved and much of their own arrogant and elitist making.

" SARAH PALIN TO BOEHNER: ENJOY LOBBYING, GOLF"

From Breitbart:

EXCLUSIVE — SARAH PALIN TO BOEHNER: ENJOY LOBBYING, GOLF

In an exclusive statement to Breitbart News, Governor Sarah Palin congratulated the conservative grassroots on the news of
Rep. John Boehner (R-OH)
35%
’s decision to resign from Congress at the end of October.

Palin noted, “The silver lining for the political establishment is that with all the time John Boehner has in the next year before he can legally become a lobbyist for special interests he represented as Speaker, he can work on his golf handicap.”
When told the news of Boehner’s resignation, Governor Palin expressed astonishment and delight, “Holy! That’s huge. Let’s thank John Boehner for his service and wish him a long and peaceful retirement.”
Explaining the significance of this announcement, Palin said:
Here’s the deal: grassroots conservatives’ commitment to adhering to the Constitution and to restoring America’s freedom and free enterprise is very real. You can only thwart the will of the people for so long. First Eric Cantor, now John Boehner. Senate leadership that’s now on notice surely takes this seriously. The conservative grassroots is calling out the permanent political class and that’s reflected in the GOP presidential polls. Bold, independent Congressmen in Washington prove they’re to be reckoned with now, and they deserve voters’ thanks for doing what we sent them to do – shake up the status quo and get the country back on track. These Congressmen are in it for the right reason, and they ought to celebrate another victory for the grassroots! Thank them!

Is Palin Trump's Trump Card In Iowa?

"Steve Bannon wrote that three people: Palin, Sessions and King would decide the conservative choice. "

A very reasonable scenario. Ted Cruz is ahead or tied with Donald Trump in Iowa as the caucus day nears. Sarah Palin  flies to Iowa, attends a Cruz meeting and announces that she is wholeheartedly endorsing him.

What would anyone, with any political sense, imagine the ensuing result would be?

It would be the same as happened for candidates Cruz (for senate)/Sasse/Ayotte/Haley/Fischer et al, there would be a flood of money, feet on the ground support and a rise, probably substantially in the polls and victory.

Iowa is of course a state where evangelicals play a major role in the selection of the winning candidate, see Santorum Rick, and if there is one person who has the ear, if not wholehearted support of evangelicals it is Sarah Palin who constantly walks the evangelical walk.

Now if Donald Trump was strongly challenged in this scenario, having a shift of support by evangelicals from Cruz (and Carson's residual support), who does well with them, to Trump would give him the widest body of support across groups and the needed votes. Palin could be exactly what Trump would need to effect this:

"Tea Party respondents supported Trump at slightly lower levels"

In a close race a shift, of even a small number of evangelicals to Trump, could make the difference. Again, if Palin flew in and endorsed Trump in Iowa I would be utterly confident that would be enough to give him the win.

Palin's influence would not be anywhere as strong in New Hampshire, but on present polling with Trump in a substantial lead she would not be needed there, in fact it might be a negative in such a liberal state.

However with South Carolina up next the exact same scenario as in Iowa would apply. Then, on to Florida where Palin drew massive crowds in 2008 and, in my opinion, kept Florida relatively close for the doddering McCain campaign as the red parts of the state turned out comparatively better than other states.

If this scenario played out, then at that point the race would be pretty much over. The lesson for Trump would be that in these key states Palin would be an essential ally.

Whether that would be as his running mate, or with a major convention role and the confirmed promise of a key cabinet position, would be not only up for consideration but would be, in my opinion, and under these circumstances,  up for a positive conclusion.

Trump is far to smart to repeat the ridiculous decision of Mitt Romney and his team to exclude Palin from the 2012 convention and the campaign.

A Palin endorsement and active support commencing in Iowa could be instrumental in getting the 2012 stay at homes to the polls and give him the victory in November 2016

Video details on Donald Trump stopping at the Oklahoma State Fair This Friday

Donald TrumpDonald TrumHe's the presidential frontrunner we're all talking about and he's headed to the metro this week.
Right now Oklahoma City is preparing to host Donald Trump.
He's turned heads across the nation, and he's no stranger to controversy.
"He's a phenomenon that hasn't been seen in American politics in so long,” said Senator Shortey.
On Friday Republican front runner Donald Trump will make a historic stop in Oklahoma City at the state fair.
"We're just very excited about it and he's just excited to meet with regular people. It's just the most fun he has,” said Carol Hefner, a local campaign coordinator for Trump
This afternoon state Senator Ralph Shortey and Oklahoma Campaign Coordinator Carol Hefner told FOX 25 Trump's visit has been weeks in the making. They say Trump seized the opportunity to connect with Oklahoma voters.
"He really enjoys meeting with the people, coming to a conservative place he really enjoys our Senators and our Congressman. Everything with Donald Trump can be very fluid and spontaneous so we have to be ready to morph with that,” said Hefner.
Shortey and Hefner say Trump's traditional values hit home, and he's a GOP candidate the Sooner State could get behind.
"The things that they're upset with about the country, the things that they say are great about the country; he says those that we believe. Donald Trump is honest, truthful, and he just lays it out there,” said Senator Shortey.
They say so far the numbers show he has the support; within a few hours of Trump's announcement more than 2,000 people responded online that they plan on attending. Trump's campaign expects more than 5,000 people to RSVP by this morning, which they say is a win/win for everyone involved.
"It's going to be benefit to the state fair of Oklahoma which is just a great symbiotic relationship. Having him here, having him drive up those ticket sales, it's going to be huge,” said Hefner.
Trump is set to speak at 5:30. While it is free, they're asking people to rsvp for trump's rally online: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/donald-j-trump-at-the-oklahoma-state-fair-tickets-18701802595

FULL SPEECH: Donald Trump Campaign Rally Dallas, Texas Monday 9/14/2015

Wonderful Coverage Of Trump In Dallas

Trump hammers 'this sanctuary cities crap' and jokes about replacing Obamacare with 'Donaldcare' as women CRY with joy while 20,000 enthralled Texans roar for 90 minute speech

  • Republican front-runner gave the single longest speech of any major party candidate in the 2016 presidential election
  • American Airlines center was packed to the rafters with Texans who came to hear The Donald speak
  • 'We've got a president who doesn't know what the hell he's doing!' Trump blasted, mocking global warming and focusing on 'nuclear global warming'
  • Took minor swipes at Carly Fiorina and Ben Carson before Wednesday's debate but boos rang from the arena at the mention of Jeb Bush's name
  • Met before his speech with Texans whose family members were killed by illegal immigrants – and returned to 'anchor baby' rhetoric
  • 'I just never thought I'd see the day when someone in politics would say the things he's saying,' said a woman who wept for joy while Trump spoke
Donald Trump spoke for 90 minutes to a crowd estimated at 20,000 on Monday night in Dallas, railing against 'this sanctuary cities crap' and joking that after he presided over the demise of Obamacare, the insurance scheme's replacement might bear his name.
'We'll go with "DonaldCare",' he said near the end of what became the longest single campaign speech of any candidate vying for the presidency in 2016, after a man in a raucous and riled-up audience called out the imaginary name for an as-yet imaginary new national health care initiative.
'We've got a president who doesn't know what the hell he's doing!' Trump trumpeted, later mocking President Barack Obama for claiming this year in his State of the Union address that 'no challenge poses a greater threat to future generations than climate change.'
'The biggest threat we have is nuclear global warming, not global warming,' Trump quipped, referring to the potential for a nuclear arms race in the Middle East as a consequence of a deal Obama cut this summer with the belligerent Islamist nation of Iran.
But the billionaire politician fired his stiffest broadsides in Texas – the ultimate American border state – at illegal immigrants, the 'sanctuary cities' that give them safe haven from deportation, and the pundits who have castigated him for declaring war on them all.
'WE'LL GO WITH "DONALDCARE"': Trump ran through one-liners including a jab at President Barack Obama's health insurance law, as a crowd of 20,000 cheered him Monday night in Dallas, Texas

Gang members who are in the U.S. illegally, he pledged, 'will be out of here so frickin fast' if he takes over the Oval Office.
And he returned to the brash rhetoric that made him a household name among immigration watchers, referring to child-citizens born of illegal immigrants as 'anchor babies' before allowing that 'I don't mean to be disrespectful.'
Trump said that just before emerging from the corner of the American Airlines center, where the Dallas Stars hockey team and Dallas Mavericks basketball team play, he had met with Texans who had lost family members to a crime wave brought north by illegal border-crossers.
'Their sons, their daughters – killed by illegal immigrants!' Trump boomed. 'We have to stop illegal immigration!'
Chants of 'USA! USA! USA!' rang out even as a small group of immigrants' rights protesters demonstrated outside.
'We have to build a wall, folks,' he said to a crescendo of cheers. 'We have to build a wall. And a wall works. All you have to do is go to Israel and say "How does your wall work?"'
The crowd ate up every word, offering deafening applause. Near the back of the main section of floor seats, two elderly women – one white and another Hispanic – wept as they applauded.
'I just never thought I'd see the day when someone would say the things he's saying,' Katherine Trevino said afterward. 'We've waited too long for this, and after eight years of Obama – that man! – in Washington, it's not a minute too soon.'
Her companion said in broken English that she didn't want to be named. But she nodded and said she was 'very proud' to be there as Trump 'is saying so many things with courage.'
Barbara Tommasini of Plano, Texas, wore a dress for the occasion made entirely of photos of Trump.
'I started it at 11:00 this morning,' she told DailyMail.com. 'My husband helped me.'

As a sea of miniature American flags waved alongside signs proclaiming Trump's audience 'the silent majority,' the candidate downplayed his own nickname for his fans.
'Maybe we should call it the noisy, the aggressive, the wanting-to-win majority!' he shouted.
He predicted, as he did Wednesday in Washington, D.C., a Trump administration chock full of 'wins' for the United States on trade, immigration, health care and foreign policy.
'We're going to have so many victories that they're going to be coming out of your ears,' he declared.
And then the Trump train paused to pick up a stray thought.
'I have to be careful,' he said, recalling how the same turn of phrase drew criticism following the first Republican primary debate last month for venting on TV that moderator Megyn Kelly had gone after him too harshly on stage.
'She gets out there, he said days after the debate, 'and she starts asking me all sorts of ridiculous questions, and you could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her – wherever.'
After some feminists suggested he was mocking Kelly's menstrual cycle, he insisted he meant to say 'nose.'
In Dallas on Monday, he turned the episode into a punchline as he pledged voters would have victories 'coming out of your ears.'
'Nose, ears, eyes,' he jabbed. 'Those are the only places I'm talking about.'

The next debate is teed up for Wednesday night in Simi Valley, California, the Los Angeles exurb that hosts the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library – which will be the site for the second of eleven smash-mouth gab fests.
Among the field of 16 Republicans – former Texas Gov. Rick Perry took himself out of the running on Friday – the other two anti-establishment outsiders drew the most fire Monday from Trump.
'Look, I like Carly and I like Ben,' he said, referring to former tech CEO Carly Fiorina and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson. 'And I like many of the people that I'm running against.'
'I mean, many of these people are terrific people. But nobody is going to be able to do the job I'm going to do.'
And in a subtle swipe at former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, the Trump rival whose super PACs have the largest GOP campaign war chest outside of Trump's bank account, The Donald returned to an old theme: bashing him as a low-energy tortoise in a field of jackrabbits.
'I have tremendous energy. Tremendous!' Trump boasted. 'Almost to the point where it's ridiculous.'
When he got around to mentioning the Bush by name, disapproval clanged from the rafters.
'Jeb – a nice guy, really a nice guy,' Trump acknowledged, straining to be heard above the boos.
'Jeb, and Hillary–' he spat out, as the boos tripled in intensity at the mention of Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton's first name.
'Well, Jeb's more popular than one person,' Trump quipped.

As is usually the case with larger-than-average crowds, estimates of Monday's audience ranged widely in number. A manager at American Airlines Center initially said 15,000 people attended, and later revised the number to 20,000.
A Trump spokesperson told DailyMail.com that the campaign agreed with the larger total.
However many the thousands were, they ate out of the palm of his hand.
'If I'm elected president,' Trump told them, 'you are going to be so. Proud. Of. Your. Country. Again.'
'You're going to remember this evening,' he said as his hour and a half on stage wound down, 'and you're going to say to your children, and you're going to say to anybody else, that we were part of a movement to take back our country.'
Serious talk for a serious man who noted that it's been months since he's heard naysayers call him a 'clown.'
But moments of slapstick mixed with the campaign speechifying, including a nod to people sitting behind him, looking at his back while he spoke.
'They have the best view!' he cried. 'Can you see it's really my hair?'
