"Progressive" Editorial "WITH BOEHNER’S EXIT,PARTY OF REAGAN DEAD PARTY OF SARAH PALIN WILL RISE"

A far left site's editorial gets it right:

"WITH JOHN BOEHNER’S EXIT, THE PARTY OF REAGAN IS DEAD… AND THE PARTY OF SARAH PALIN WILL RISE"

Actually it's not "will rise" but  "has risen but they grope about dimly in the blinding sun of the Palin-ite conservative dawn." In their hate and sarcasm against conservatives and in particular Sarah Palin they pay us, and her, an enduring compliment.

Yes indeed what Governor Palin has tirelessly worked for, under the most vicious attacks a person has ever endured, is slowly but surely coming to fruition.

"Sarah Palin didn’t just set the tone for how conservatives behave today… she wrote the sheet music.

When Palin resigned her office, under terrible personal and financial duress created by a band of Democratic haters and genuine nutcases, she set out her plans for the future. She made it clear she would  work selflessly for the election of genuine conservatives, and if the future did not hold elective office for her-so be it "if I die I die" she memorably said.

She also said "you don't need a title to make a difference". This concept is so far beyond the understanding of leftists personal advantage seekers that they could not grasp the concept-to their detriment.

 So instead of taking Palin seriously and at her word, they continued on their campaigns of personal attack, lies and sarcasm. And where has it got them now they have been shocked enough by Boehner's retirement to look around at the reality of the political scene?

They see genuine conservatives in the House and Senate who don't kow-tow to the Beltway Establishment. They see so many conservatives who got into office mostly, or entirely, because of Palin's endorsement and campaigning for them. Cruz/Ayotte/Fischer/Haley-the list  is massive (21 of 23 Palin endorsements were elected in the 2014 mid-terms alone).

They see  900 elected offices having gone from the Democratic party to the Republicans since Obama took office. They cry "gerrymander" but can't explain how majority control of the senate and governorship's are effected by so called gerrymanders.

Now that the scales have finally fallen (far too late of course) their perverted concept of reality comes back into view with their rant directed at their Emmanuel Goldstein;

"Whoever takes the (Speakers) seat next needs to play by the rules of Sarah Palin, not by the rules of Ronald Reagan, however much those Tea Party figures might praise the latter.
How, you’re probably asking, does this involve Sarah Palin? After all, Palin has never held office in the House or the Senate, and she’ll certainly never occupy the White House… why on Earth am I bringing that bumpkin into the mix? The answer is simple, if you think back to the 2008 campaign trail anyway. Sarah Palin can easily, though indirectly, be credited with birthing the Tea Party, and certainly deserves heaps of credit for helping radicalize the party. Without Sarah Palin entering the mix, the last seven years would look vastly different.
And with this, we’re soon going to see a new era in Republican politics. The rise of the party of Ted Cruz, of Michele Bachmann, of Glenn Beck… the rise of the party of Sarah Palin. So brace yourselves, my fellow progressives. You might think the last seven years have been rough, but you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
And they've got that right. Whilst the left has been laughing and pointing Palin has doggedly got on with the task she set for herself.

The left has spent 7 years calling her an idiot but it is suddenly dawning on them that they, like everyone else who has taken her on, is coming off second best. "You ain't seen nothin yet" indeed.

Whomever Palin endorses in the Republican primary will have her imprimatur, and as with Cruz et al the path to victory.

Let the left scoff, although I think that will be a thing of the past  if the have any residual sense at all, but they will be facing a sea change in American political life not to their liking but entirely well deserved and much of their own arrogant and elitist making.
