Big. Wild. Fish.
Our wild Alaskan salmon season is a few months away but good news heading into it with new reports of progress last year. Our fresh, organic, enormously healthy seafood now has to compete against pellet-fed farmed fish... but competition is good because it makes everyone work harder, be safer, and produce a better product. Commercial fishing is an inherently dangerous industry, making a safe, successful harvest that much more rewarding. (By the way, fellow Paleo fans, farmed fish can never win over what God put in the water for mankind's use, so you're all good with consuming only "the wild".) Here's to another safe season slaying salmon!
