Positive Palin News # 3 June 2016

Among the usual hate blogs, biased leftist media now and then a positive article about Governor Palin
appears. Since these golden drops in an ocean of sludge may pass friendly and unbiased good people by I link to them here with a brief extract to give an idea of the subject matter.

Some are "neutral" some lightly satirical/lighthearted, some sarcastic but, you take what you can get.

As always the link to Governor Palin's Twitter and Facebook account is at

Sarah Palin and Donald Trump to speak at Denver’s

Western Conservative Summit

Republican stars to speak July 1 at Colorado Convention Center, a few tickets remain

Sarah Palin will join Donald Trump on July 1 in Denver to kick off the Western Conservative Summit, organizers said Wednesday morning.
The 2008 vice presidential pick and former Alaska governor is a favorite of the conservative base. She announced her endorsementfor Trump in January. The presumptive GOP presidential nominee announced last week he would attend the summit, the largest annual gathering of conservatives outside Washington, D.C.
Although the summit, which began in 2010, normally starts on Friday night each year, Trump and Palin will speak Friday morning at the Colorado Convention Center.

“We’ve added an additional session Friday morning with Mr. Trump. So we reached out to some other folks who have been part of his effort and have been endorsing him, and she accepted,” said Jeff Hunt, the executive director of the Centennial Institute think tank at Colorado Christian University in Lakewood, which puts on the weekend-long event. “It’s going to be a barn-burner. It’s going to be a lot of fun.”

The first speech will be at 10:30 a.m. Palin is expected to speak for a half hour, and Trump will speak for an hour, although who speaks first has not been determined, Hunt said.
A few remaining tickets are available online. Day passes cost $120.
Palin gave a 35-minute speech to the Western Conservative Summit in 2014. A former reality TV star, like Trump, Palin hit on issues not unfamiliar to the Trump campaign: immigration.
“It’s so nice to get to participate in something CCU is in charge of,” Palin said to open her address two years ago. “They do such good work. They’re like salt and light out there in the education arena.”
She joked about Colorado’s “snow-capped hills,” reminding attendees that she’s from Alaska, then made a marijuana joke.
“Stepped off the plane, ah,” she said, sighing and tilting back her head. “Todd reminds me: Don’t inhale. We’re in Colorado.”

SARAH PALIN AS DONALD TRUMP'S VP BECOMES SERIOUS POSSIBILITY, JOINT APPEARANCE SCHEDULED

The speculation of Sarah Palin joining Donald Trump on the GOP ticket has only increased as the two are set for a joint appearance next week.

After Donald Trump officially clinched the required number of delegates to become Republican nominee, all eyes were on who he would select as his running mate. Trump has kept his vice presidential short list quiet, but numerous leaks have provided a glimpse into who could be running with him in November.

Trump and Palin?

Retired neurosurgeon and former presidential candidate, Ben Carson, was tapped to help find the perfect running mate for Trump heading into the general election. Before he stepped aside from his position, Carson leaked a few names that were on the billionaire real estate mogul's short list. One name that surprised many was former half-term Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, who had just recently announced her support for Trump earlier in the year. While certain names have been officially removed from consideration, including Florida Gov. Rick Scott, Palin still remains in contention and will be increasing her availability to the campaign, as reported by The Denver Post on June 22.

Donald Trump Jr. confirmed that his father wouldn't announce his running mate until the convention next month in Cleveland, Ohio, but that hasn't stopped the media from continuing their speculation. Palin and Trump will be attending the conservative convention known as the "Western Conservative Summit" on July 1. The conference has been described as the "largest gathering of conservatives outside of Washington, DC," and Trump and Palin's involvement have many wondering if her chances at another run as vice president have become more of a reality.

Controversial history

Palin officially endorsed Trump back in January, making a pubic appearance to do so less than 24 hours after her son, Track, was arrested on domestic violence charges. Since that time, Palin has made various campaign stops for Trump, often finding herself in the headlines with questionable actions during her speeches.
Palin once referred to the billionaire real estate mogul as a "golden wrecking ball," while also claiming that illegal immigrants were being bribed into the country with soccer balls. Despite the controversy, Trump only trails likely Democratic candidate, Hillary Clinton by seven points in the most recent general election polls.
