Sarah Palin Talks Donald Trump, ISIS And Her New Book ‘Sweet Freedom’

Sarah Palin has been hitting the campaign trail this month, but not for another run at the White House. This time she has been running around promoting her brand new book as she appeared on Extra this Friday afternoon to talk with host Mario Lopez.

The former Alaska governor and Republican presidential candidate just released her fourth book, Sweet Freedom: A Devotional. The book includes 260 meditations that use “biblical principles” to tackle contemporary issues, including economics, debt, social justice, marriage, parenting, human trafficking and more.

While on the show, she discussed a number of different people and topics includingISIS, Donald Trump, President Barack Obama and her children. When asked if she had one question for our current President she stated, “When are we going to declare war on ISIS?” which was met with mixed reactions from the crowd.

On a lighter note, the 51-year-old added that she is very excited to welcome her future grandchild into the world as her daughter, 25-year-old Bristol Palin is currently pregnant with her second child. “I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you,” she wrote in her blog post. “But please respect Tripp’s and my privacy during this time. I do not want any lectures and I do not want any sympathy.”
