Hey guys,
What a fun day I had! I got to the festival about 2.5 hrs early. I went to a couple of information booths to find out where Sarah would be. They said over in the main building she going to make herself a Strawberry Shortcake. I was the only one waiting that knew she was coming. One of the ladies at the info booth said she would love to meet her.
There was a young Hispanic employee who was skipping her bathroom break, just so she could meet Sarah.
Once Sarah was entering the build, everyone walking by stopped and started yelling Sarah! SARAH! Wooo hooo it's Sarah Palin! Boy I was determined to get close! The police were all around her and there were 2 sides to get shortcakes..she went to one side and talked with the employees and took pictures and then went across the other side to make herself a strawberry shortcake (the one you saw her eating in the video).
She started walking back outside talking to people and reporters, and there were 2 girls that got their picture taken (the picture Sarah posted on Facebook ) they allowed me to get my picture taken with her and a lady named Carolyn. She's a big Sarah supporter. I told her about C4P maybe she'll stop by sometime. (I had to email her our pictures, her phone was acting righg. Lol).
I told Sarah that C4P and Earthquake said Hi and she's an awesome person! She said you guys work so hard and she loves what you do here and to keep up the good work!
I told her that I had been waiting 8 yrs for her to come to the Strawberry Festival , I knew she'd love it! She said it was a great place!
